RN SUPERVISOR - GERIATRIC UNIT
3 12s, Night Shift (7P-7A), Rotating Weekends
Qualifications
- Minimum two years of RN experience in a hospital setting is required
- Previous leadership experience is a must – charge or above
- Must have an Associates, Bachelors or Masters Degree in Nursing
- Experience and a passion for working with the older adult population strongly preferred
- Experience caring for patients with the following diagnoses is a plus Dementia/Acute Confusion, Syncope,
Responsibilities
- Supervisor and staff RN duties
- Responsible for staff assignments based on patient acuity and staffing (15+ BED UNIT)
- Responsible for orienting, training and evaluating staff
- Must maintain compliance with department policies and procedures
- Participates in quality improvement
- Will report to the Nurse Manager/Director
